I gain a lot of benefits from kundalini yoga practices, although I don't often go through them in a manner similar to the classes.
Mods: Please feel free to delete this post if I misspoke. So, figure out if you are looking to awaken your kundalini or if you want to try kundalini yoga, which is just like any other yoga. Don't get me wrong, yoga definitely helps and is probably one of the strongest legs of that tripod, but yoga alone wouldn't help is what I am trying to say, at least not in all the cases. Maybe because I come from a different school of thought where Kundalini, Meditation and Yoga are more closely related, and only one aspect cannot help you awaken your Kundalini, I beg to differ from this school of thought. For the lack of a better word it felt very cultish to me and also I didn't really experience any Kundalini awakening symptoms which I had not already experienced. I tried Kundalini Yoga a few times (6 or 7 classes) and it wasn't for me.I could be wrong, but I think having the word Kundalini attached made it more marketable(just my opinion, and I could be wrong and I apologize to anyone who do not agree with my opinion).Kundalini Yoga is just like any other yoga process. I think a key factor to understand is the ability to distinguish between Kundalini awakening and kundalini Yoga.
